IRTE DigiLink is a new DIGITAL microwave radio link that works with COFDM modulation and also use DIVERSITY techniques (space, frequency and ASI diversity in various combinations) at receiver part, especially designed for improving performances and giving strong link robustness both in movement or in non line-of-sight situation.
It is developed just for mobile applications, designed for giving the best utilisation flexibility: two different video inputs (analog multistandard or SDI), analog audio stereo inputs to combine with analog video or SDI input, or SDI-embedded.
These inputs feed and MPEG-2 encoder MP@ML and the encoder output goes to COFDM modulator, both controlled by software in a wide variety of parameters (bit-rate, modulation, output power,.).
Performances, small dimensions, full waterproof, fast to install, easy to use, an appropriate choice of frequency bands (2 or 7 GHz) make DigiLink the best solution for links on the city (especially for live events, breaking news, ENG contributions).
